Hi! This is my first post but I just got back March SAT scores and have gone up a lot! Curious to see what my chances are at some potential schools.
A little about me:
I go to a private single sex school
GPA: 3.8 unweighted (taking 2 AP’s -which is my schools maximum as a junior)
Class Rank: School does not rank

Extracurriculars: Varsity athlete for four years, Started fitness group for underprivileged elementary aged girls, involved in religious community, research internship in biomedical engineering junior year, leader of committee that supports women’s health initiatives
Planning to major in public health, public policy, or environmental studies

Emory- Low Reach
Wake- Low Reach
Vanderbilt- Reach
Tulane- High Match
Miami- High Match/Match
Your ECs are wonderful, you have a fair GPA, and your test scores are ok for a few of these schools but I would definitely take again for the majority of the schools listed. You might also want to find a few (1 or 2) safety schools to add on here. A state university would suffice and your scores should give you scholarships there, although I can’t say for sure because you didn’t list a a state of residence. I would definitely load up on APs next year if you have the chance to bump your GPA and also try the ACT, some people find it easier than than the SAT. Maybe take a few SATII’s if there are specific subjects you enjoy? You seem to be a competitive applicant to most of these schools and bumped test scores (a 2100-2200) would further that. Of course then again, Wake is actually test optional if you would like to take that route, just worth mentioning. Keep up the hard work and good luck!
Thank you so much for the advice! @Hertzog
