Last year, my interviews killed my chances of acceptance or waitlist.

Any of your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Why did your interviews kill your chances? What happened to make you think that?

@eileenbeth: Last year, the main fault turned out to be my interview (and probably also my shyness!). It was my first interview ever, so I didn’t really do so well.

I revived my thread that day with a post about where I fell short.

Last year’s interviewing experiences were tough for me, but they make me want to do all the more better this year.

@ Dianuh - Thanks for the reply, and good for you for trying again! Good luck!

Dianuh,

I just want to say best of luck on your interview. I know they can be stressful but try to relax and talk about what you are passionate about which looks like music and dance. I read your old thread from last year and it sounds like you learned a lot over the past yr from your experience.
I know some people think interviews don’t matter and maybe they don’t to the 1 or 2% but they do let the interviewer know a little bit about you as a person and they can get a gauge for how you will fit in to their school as a contributing student.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you this year!
