Chance me ed1 bates college

Hi,

I am International Student.

Financial Aid = 100%

SAT Score - 2150 ( CR 730, M 700, CR 720 )

Essays -

I was waitlisted last year, I have reapplied this year! Last time I had no interview but this time I had quite a good interview.

Bates is a test-optional school; what’s your grades like?

Grades are good. I was wait listed so I guess I was in the mix last year too.

What about my essays? Are they good? My interviewer liked my essay and she also said that good test scores really help when they are submitted and asked for consideration.

Chance me please! The ED decision is 6 days away and I am totally nervous. I really want to go to Bates but don’t want to keep false hope once again. Already they broke my heart twice last year, first by wait listing then by rejecting. :(

I know Bates is a test optional college, but my alumni interviewer said that when submitted standardised test scores do hold some weight which is even more true for international students. So is 2150 a good score for Bates? The scores are on the 75th percentile, does that mean the scores are good?

good luck. I also applied early to Bates. Same situation here. I couldn’t have an interview though; it was unavailable.
