Hey there! Could someone try give me some indication of how this could go?
I take the IB and do:
HL english lit
HL history
HL art
SL math studies
SL french A
SL design tech
Im predicted 40 out of 45 points for the IB right now which is quite good imo

My sat 1 (superscored) is at 1260 (690 in reading and writing and 570 in math)
My sat 2 is 800 in French and 640 in literature (i know thats not stellar)

extra curriculars:
Volunteer trip to south africa, working a summer job as a furniture restorer or waitress, president of the law and international relations society, yearbook editor, school gov and I’ve done a lot of fundraising. ive also been on honor roll all of last year (which is the only time they did it)

My recommendations were quite good (i hope), I have a great relationship with both my teachers which wrote them and Im quite close with my college counsellor who is also really kind. I spent a lot of time on the supplements, and I think theyre a little different (in so far as I talked about something unique) but they should be good.
I had an interview and that also went quite well.

If I were a betting man, I would bet against you getting in cause of your SAT scores

Could you try the ACT? You wouldn’t have to send it the subject test scores either if you used the ACT.

Those SAT scores do not bode well…

You’d have a good chance if your scores were 1450+. I think the ED 2 pool will be extremely competitive with lots of Ivy rejects/defers coming in. I am applying ED II with a 1540, similar ECs, and above average GPA and I don’t even think I have over a 50% chance of getting in, but anything could happen! Hope to see you at Tufts! :slight_smile:
