Chance me Engineering(international)

Chance me for Purdue West Lafayette, Penn State Main camp, Syracuse, Clemson, Pepperdine, Pittsburgh,UCSB, UCD, UCSC, UCI, UCSD and Ohio State Columbus.

Around 3.6 high school GPA from grade 9-11 out of 4.0 system, around 3.7-3.75 UC GPA.

7 Honors classes and 4 AP(taken throughout Gr10-12)

103hrs of community service

Honor Role in Freshmen year

According to the US news ranking, the HS I've been in for 3 years is number 1 in my State.

My ACT score is only 22, 8 on essay(it sucks, retaking in December) but Purdue and Penn State makes it optional for us international students.

102 on TOEFL iBT

I was in a pretty terrible school in Canada during Freshmen year, they offered only 2 enriched classes(no AP, IB etc.) and I took 1, which I didn't consider it as an honors class above. Anyways, so my Grades in that year was like a 3.3 or something bad like that converted to GPA system. My classes during Freshmen year was also very terribly picked. So I have a good Grade progress throughout my high school career. (I will include that in my Application if I could)

Good teacher recommendation, Good essay

My Major is Computer Engineering/Science, Financial aids don't matter. I took 4 semesters of Cisco in my school to prepare me for this. AP comp sci is not available in my school but I m currently taking AP Calc. Also planning to do 4hrs+ of internship at West Virginia University.

I currently live in US, F2 Visa, Been in US for 2 and half a year and Canada for 3 years. I'm Chinese born but Canadian Citizen.

And like my names says I got 800 SAT Chinese if that matters at all(also speaks 3 languages, Chinese English and Took 3 years of French). Taking SAT math level 2 and world history in December.

Also some disadvantages if u consider them are:
*School is on a 7 point system instead of 10, also doesn't give any advantage in GPA if you take honors( Do colleges re-calculate your GPA?)
*Took no high school classes in middle school cause my middle school offered none. I had to take 2 maths in Grade 10.
*I never took grade 5, I was forced to jump to Grade 6 when I came to Canada by the school. I also only had 3 months of Grade 6......
*My school offered relatively few AP classes compare to other high schools and had no IB classes.

Thank you. Best Regards

Syracuse doesn’t offer financial aid for international students :(

I know, so is PennState. But I really do not care if they don’t, as long as they accept me.
