Your grades seem fine, chem test score is definitely low and it’s good that you recognized that. You might want to see if you can take more subject tests so you won’t have to submit that one. If you do have to submit your chem score, it might significantly lower your chances at the more selective schools you are looking at, like Stanford.
Since you’re applying for engineering schools, you may want something on your application that shows that you are really passionate about engineering, because your EC’s seem pretty normal and you want to really stand out. Your grades put you in the ballpark for any of these schools, though, so as long as you write a great application, you might get into some great schools.
Yeah, even though college prices are insane, my father is going to pay some and I’ll have to take a loan for the rest. My family is pretty well off though.
