Brown - Reach (but for everyone - you def. have a great shot if ED)
Northwestern, UChicago - low match
Vanderbilt - Safety
Penn, Stanford - high match/low Reach

I could be completely wrong, but that’s what I think. Great EC’s/grades/graduating early as well. If you’re truly a URM, especially Native American that should help you a lot (a lot lot). I think you definitely should get into 1 ivy, if not more or all. Good luck!

UCHICH - Low reach
Northwestern - Low reach
vanderbilt - i think you have the best chance here
brown - reach
upenn - reach
stanford - reach

Well they are all reaches just because they are amazing schools. I think that you can get into at least one, hopefully. Think positive :)

Your scores seem fine and you’ve seen to have taken a rigorous course. Although the few Bs in your sophomore year may seem bad, i think it is fine becaue of your rank.

For the ECs its very good. Although its not a huge list, those activities take up alot of time. Sports take up hours each day in my school (idk about you) eagle scout is quite an accomplishment. Plus you have 700 hours.

I say you have a good chance youll get into a few schools

I wouldn’t go so far as to say Vandy was a safety; but you have a great chance and it is a great school. But stick to EDII; don’t compromise your ED1 to Brown because that is your first choice and that is what is most important.

Don’t apply to vandy EDII unless you’re absolutely sure its your second choice because youll probs get in there. if you apply rd, youll have more of a variety of options.
Solid app with great hooks. only problem is ecs are semi-weak (no academic ones)
the hardest i would say is brown which I would put low-mid reach. youll probs get into 2+ of those schools, probably more than 2

It’s hard to tell with such great schools, but I’d say that if you’ll get into Vandy and half of the rest. I’d put them high match if your essays and letters of rec. are as good as you say.

Absolutely solid test scores, course rigor is schweeet, grades are above average, community service is great, internships are legit, work experience, and your background will help. You have just about everything you could ask for lol, short of tons of amazing awards. You stand an excellent chance for all the schools on your list. Best wishes Hope we’re classmates @ Brown!

UChicago - Low reach/high match
Northwestern - high match
Vanderbilt - match
Brown - low reach/high match
Upenn - low reach/high match
Stanford - low reach

UPenn, Stanford, and Brown are reaches for everyone but you’ve got a decent chance. Vanderbilt is pretty much a guarantee and the other schools are somewhere between low and mid reaches I’d say, good luck though!

UChicago - high match
Northwestern - high match
Vanderbilt - match
Brown - low reach
Upenn - reach
Stanford - reach

All of those schools are super competitive, and once you’ve crossed a certain threshold, I recon it’s all down to luck. You’ve good test scores, good ECs and i suppose your essays won’t be that bad.

At first, from your grades, I was unimpressed, but after reading through the whole thing I am confident you have a chance at everything except maybe Stanford. Go for UChicago, that seems like a high match for you.

My grades are unimpressive; I know that.
Thanks, I like Uchicago, already applied EA.
I’m going to try to get a perfect score on the ACT in December. I’m quite confident that I’ll get at least a 35. Will that make me “stand a chance” at Stanford?

Your grades are average for many of these schools, but the other information you provided makes me think you have a shot at all of them. I think that Vanderbilt and UChicago are matches and the rest are reaches–but definitely possible. Also, the fact that you are Native American will seriously get you places!
