I dont really know much about any of these schools, but most of your stuff seems fantastic. Most colleges are really strange and you cant put a pattern on who they accept, so honestly I dont have a clue. Most seem like a good fit, but nobody can know for sure.

Thanks Jettski1, the admissions process is somewhat random.

^^stop trying to spam those books.

I’m not great with tthe terminology but here’s my thoughts.

Uchicago, Northwestern, Vanderbilt (EDII, if I don’t get into Brown), Brown (ED), UPenn, and Stanford.

Brown - Never a lock but you have a good to great shot with ED
Vandy - great shot here, best chance out of any school
Upenn - a reach for anyone, but you’re a competitive applicant
uchicago - match (i think high? not sure on the terminology. The lowest chances match
stanford - solid shot
Northwestern - same as uchicago

Brown - match
Northwestern, UChicago - low match
Vanderbilt - Safety
Penn- high match
Stanford - high match

Great stats.
Brown - Mattch
NU, U chicaco - match
Vandy - low match/match
U Penn - Mid reach
Stanford - mid reach

Thanks DHS for the generous chance

Uchicago - Match
Northwestern - Match
Vanderbilt (ED II) - Match
Brown (ED) - I think you actually have a decent chance. High Match
UPenn - Low Reach
Stanford- Reach

Good luck!

so your state of residence is FL? ALso, when the application asks for Native American, do you simply check that box?

My state of residence is florida. When the application asks for race, i checked white and native american. When it asked my my tribe, I inputted my tribe’s name.

Only a few days left guys!

Uchicago=match
Northwestern=high match
Vanderbilt=match
Brown (ED)=high match
UPenn=bit of a reach
Stanford=a reach for ABSOLUTELY ANYBODY

good luck and thanks for chancing me :]

hey y’all I chance back
i’ll leave a link…in a bit :]

I think you’re right on track for all of those schools Vanderbilt seems like your best bet though. Congratulations on all of your amazing accomplishments! :)

Uchicago - low reach
Northwestern - match/high match
Vanderbilt - match
Brown - match (Brown is big on affirmative action - and I assume you put down Native American)
UPenn - reach
Stanford - reach

Great hooks.
Grades are sufficient.
SATs are sufficient.
You need SAT subject tests. Also what were your AP scores, if you get, say a 2 or 3, your A is pretty much meaningless. If you have all 4s and 5s then that should be fine.

Why are you graduating early?

I don’t need SAT subject tests because they accept the ACT in lieu for SAT+Subject tests. AP Scores: 5,5,5,5,4 (world history)
I am graduating early because academic and financial reasons.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1042176-chances-ucs-i-chance-back.html

[already chanced ya]…anyone else who wants to chance me…

p.s. I CHANCE BACKKK

Simply because a college says you don’t have to have it, doesn’t necessarily mean you shouldn’t do it.
SAT2’s can be very helpful if you get 700+, even if you’re not required to have them.

Think about it this way:
I know colleges (I believe Harvard) asks for SAT2’s even if you submit the ACT. Now, if the same applicant applying to Harvard applies to one of the colleges you’re applying to, they will probably send their SAT2 scores. Probably in your best interest if you send SAT2’s too.
Might be slightly late to take them though- I’m not sure if you can do January test date and still put it on application. Your 5’s should help though, (even though I got a 5 on APWH exam, I unfortunately got a 590 on the SAT2).
And if it’s for “financial reasons” - you may want to see how much FA you’re offered. You could complete senior year and see what AP Credits you receive (College classes are $$$). Or some local public U’s allow HS students to go to their campus for classes - also much cheaper. However, that’s also a tough choice since many colleges don’t accept other credits.
Hope you get into Brown though!
and thanks for reading my SAT essay!

I’m taking MathII and Bio Saturday; I need them for Columbia and Dartmouth if I decide to apply. I expect 750 on Math II and 720 on Bio. All of the universities, excluding berkeley, are very generous with financial aid. I’ll get a full ride at any ivy.
It would be hard to send both my brother and I to college the same year, so I am graduating early (plus I want to start doing Psych research).

bump hhhhh

If you don’t get into Brown, you’ll definitely get into Vandy, assuming you put Native AMerican, since that’s as big of a URM as african american. Apart from your GPA, the rest is pretty solid, and under Native AMer, you have a really good chance of getting in! :D
