Chance me for a bunch of schools (USC, UCLA, GT, etc.)!

10th - All honors and AP WH (3), except electives and religion
11th - 2 APs - Stat (4) and US History (4) - took 2 science classes because my school offers no honors classes for 11th and 12th graders

UCSB
Vanderbilt
Fordham
Berkeley
Stanford
Columbia
Duke
William & Mary
GWU
Cornell
NYU

Thanks for chancing, I appreciate it, and please don't be too cruel. Some of these apps were forced upon me by my parents

you seem like a good candidate for all the school besides stanford, columbia, duke, and cornell, which are basically reach schools for everyone unless you cured cancer or something lol. maybe submit solely your act score, bc its a lot more impressive than your sat score

chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1467326-chance-me-uc-berkeley-haas-stanford-ucla-usc.html</a></p>

You’ve got solid credentials, with the exception of your GPA and SAT. Those are very decent. By all means, apply to all the schools. You’re a good candidate, with most likely acceptance to almost all of them. I’d make the exception of Cornell, Columbia, and Stanford. There cannot be a guarantee for those. Could you chance me as well? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1467360-chances-acceptance-cs-programs.html#post15549652</a></p>

Recalc your GPA. 3.66w seems awfully low for an AP Scholar? If correct it’s probably too low for the elite Universities.

youre most likely getting into ucsb, im not really sure about the higher ones tho, i mean your gpa should be higher, but then again a lot of people still get accepted, good luck tho! i wanna go to ucsb anyway haha
chance me?

Emory - Not familiar enough to give an accurate chance.
USC - High Match/Low Reach
UCLA - Low Reach/Reach
UCSB - Match
Vanderbilt - Not familiar enough to give an accurate chance.
Fordham - Not familiar enough to give an accurate chance.
Berkeley - Low Reach/Reach
Stanford - High Reach
Columbia - High Reach
Duke - High Reach
William & Mary - Not familiar enough to give an accurate chance.
GWU - Not familiar enough to give an accurate chance.
Cornell - Reach
NYU - High Match

ACT is decent, ECs are decent too but nothing that stands out or shows either a focus in a particular field or substantial leadership. Your main weakness by far is your GPA: like other posters said try recalculating it as it seems a bit low, especially with all your weighted AP classes.

Thank you all so much! My weighted recalculated is a 3.66. However, I’m unsure whether or not I should include some of my classes (mainly the academic electives). Also, a reason it’s low is because, during sophomore year, I had one good semester and one bad semester, due to a major injury. The AP Scholar with Honor award is for people with an average above a 3 on their AP exams

Also, what do you mean when you say match? Does that mean that my odds are good in getting in to the school?

And I forgot to add this in, but I got into Fordham.

Bumpin away

Congrats on having 3 acceptances so far. What are your 2 or 3 favorites? Seems worthless to comment on whole list. USC as in southern cal or SC? Hard to tell since you have some California schools and some GA, NC schools listed.

USC as in southern cal. The ones I am most interested in going to are GWU, GT, USC, and Emory

Bumpppppp.

Also, what about Georgia Tech?

3.66 (W)/1980/32. You have a lot of very tough schools on your list especially with a 3.66 weighted GPA.

Unlikely/No

Berkeley
Stanford
Columbia
Duke
Emory
USC
UCLA
Vanderbilt
William & Mary
UNC - Chapel Hill OOS (denied)
Cornell

Possibly

GWU
NYU
Georgia Tech (deferred)

Probably/Yes

UGA (accepted)
U. of Miami (accepted with 15k scholarship)
UCSB
Fordham

Thanks everyone!

Anyone else want to chance me?

Good ECs but stats are a bit low. Essays can save you though and know that even 4.0s get rejected from Harvard all the time, just food for thought.
good number of APs too
