Chance me for a long list of schools, please!

I’m a California resident. Chance me for Brown PLME, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, GWU BA/MD, UPenn, USC, Georgetown, Harvard, and UC schools: UCLA, UC Berkeley (requested for LOR), UC San Diego
(applied Bio and sent research abstracts to most schools)

SAT I : 2200 (760 CR, 700 M, 740 W) (superscore, and single sitting)
SAT II: 780 Molecular Biology, 780 US History
Unweighted GPA: 3.92, Weighted GPA (10-12): 4.82, Total Weighted GPA 4.66
UC GPA: around a 4.2? 4.3?

Class Rank: 3/803
AP tests: 5s in European History, US History, English Language/Composition, Statistics, Art History, Biology, Psychology; 4 in Human Geography (silly freshman) (National AP Scholar)

Activities:
Lead saxophonist at an academy for performing arts all 4 years in high school, performed in a few MainStage shows
Team Captain of Varsity Soccer (1 year), playing in high school 3 years (skipped junior year)
Won league title for soccer (I’m good at soccer, but not great enough to get recruited to the schools I’m interested in, except maybe UCSD, but not interested in playing soccer in college at a competitive level)
Varsity MVP soccer
Volunteer at local hospital (200+ hours) 3 years
President of Science Olympiad club on campus 3 years, member for 4 years
President and founder of an Innovation Club on campus for 2 years (build little innovative things, help with community, etc.)
Cancer awareness volunteer – raised money for children fighting cancer all 4 years
Piano competitions (no wins, just for fun) and art competitions (won one art contest, but also mainly for fun)

Work Experiences:
I think the highlight of my application is my intern work in cancer research and data analysis. I worked alongside researchers, physicians, and statisticians to find new ways to improve a specific radiation cancer treatment. The study will be completed in a month, but I have been working on it for the past year (big data analysis, lots of work, all that) and also I had another leadership role here, as I represented our research team in tumor board meetings and conferences across California. Additionally, I shadowed a really fantastic doctor for 6 months, and he wrote me a really great LOR, and of course, really interesting experiences.

Essays:
I talked about my work in a country in Africa, where I came up with a solution to improve public health conditions. It wasn’t cliche, I promise
My passion for arts and sciences
Research

I’m a South Asian student, but I have personality and a sense of humor (I swear) I’m definitely not boring. I really love Liberal Arts, and my letters of recs were usually from my Biology and Art History teachers (both loved me, and I love them and the doctor I shadowed.

I also understand that it’s really hard to base predictions off of just looking at a list of stuff and numbers, but I’m interested in what you guys have to say. I will chance back to all the lovely folks who take the time to read and reply!

Cheers!

Wow! You have such impressive credentials, you will be a highly highly competitive applicant anywhere you apply! Harvard and Columbia are probably you’re toughest bets, mainly because almost all the extraordinary students apply to schools like these, so the pool of applicants will be tens of thousands of students like you. Brown and Dartmouth are still going to be reach but definitely not impossible for you, and I think with EA you could increase your chances significantly. I would be surprised if Duke, Georgetown, UPenn, and some of your UC choices didn’t accept you. Overall, everything about your application is amazing, and those mere 200 points off your SAT are certainly accounted for by your internship experiences and ECs. I wish my resume looked a lot more like yours!!

@shannon14 Thanks friend! Aww that’s actually really really nice  Thank you! Good luck out there, I already applied so I’m just praying to be honest

Your statistics are amazing, congratulations! You’ve clearly worked hard and put it all out there in high school. I would say you have a solid chance at every school you applied to. Some people might see your application as just another one of talented students, but it is strong enough to get the acceptance from many schools. I think you are definitely going to be accepted at UC Berkeley and San Diego. UCLA, USC, Georgetown, etc. is possible too. The Ivies you applied to will be the challenging schools, as it is hard to ever know who or what they are looking for in an admission year. Your scores are great, so if your essay is not cliche as you say, I think you are going to be very happy and proud when decisions are sent out. Good luck

Thank you so much @cfruehe16!

I definitely think you can get into Brown and Dartmouth. Harvard may be a reach. I think you have a great shot! Chance me?
