As a current senior, I'm beginning to get the ball rolling on the application process, and I'm curious as to what people think my chances are for several schools. My stats:

White male from a middle class background from southern California
4.0 un-weighted GPA
4.61 GPA (10-12)
35 ACT (with 8 on the essay)
2230 SAT 710 CR 800 M 720 W (May not submit in favor of just submitting the ACT)
Sat IIs Math I 780 Math II 710 Physics 730 (may want to retake)
So-So Extracurricular (Clubs, volunteering, internship)

Colleges:
UCLA
UCB
UCSD
USC
University of Virginia
University of Michigan
Carnegie Mellon
University of Penn(Wharton)
Cornell
Yale
Stanford

legacies at yale, stanford and usc

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for schools I should consider applying to (I'm interested in majoring in business) they would be greatly appreciated. In addition, do those on here think i should apply to some safer schools?

So-so ECs are going to make the road much harder into the Ivies.

UCB: Low match
UCLA: Low match
UPenn Wharton: Reach
Stanford: Reach (legacies aren’t as important as it would be in Yale)
Cornell: Reach
Yale: Reach (even with legacies, be prepared for interviews)
UCSD: Safety
USC: Match (maybe low match if legacies are a major factor)
UVA: Low match (OOS playing against you)
UMI: Low match (OOS playing against you)
CMU: Low match (ECs playing against you)

So you guys really think I have great chances at these universities (other than yale, stanford, and penn) even with weak extracurriculars? If so, I’m very happy.
