OHH YEA AND I RETOOK THE SAT FIND OUT RESULTS ON THE 25th

im gonna say doubtful unless your SAT goes up

From the way you capitalized your race, I'm guessing you think that it will be the factor that gets you in. I strongly advise you to stop thinking that way, because you'll be surprised when you get your decisions (especially if you're thinking about HPYSM). Being an URM helps you only a little - it doesn't create miracles (usually), lol.

I don't mean to offend, I just wanted to make sure you aren't thinking that way. However on the contrary, Vandy's probably a reach for you... I don't think it'd be impossible to get in. Your CR + W scores are on the low side, but your math score is good. Besides, maybe your score will go up... make sure to update this thread on the 25th :) (I retook them too, so good luck to both you AND me!!!). GPA is a bit low but since you've taken all honors & APs, rigor will help you out.

My black friend with a 3.7-ish GPA and 2380 got REJECTED from UPenn. URM helps but it won't carry you.

Thank you, TheKillerAngel.
