Chance me for Bowdoin, Amherst, Swarthmore, and UChicago? Thanks!

Your a match for all of them!

Chance me now!

I don’t know about the others, but UChicago is a low reach. Test scores are REALLY good, but I don’t know enough about your ECs to know if they’re great.

Bump! Anyone have advice/opinions on the LAC’s?

All three of those are crap shoots for everyone and UChicago is a crapshoot for all as well, get some safeties.

What safeties do you think are good for someone interested in these schools?

You have a really good chance at all of them honestly. Your involvement in your school looks great on paper, as well. If you have an option to get an interview for any of these, do it, as some of them are optional. Present yourself as the biggest debate team fanatic that ever lived, since a lot of your EC’s are more political and thats what they like to see.

I applied to similar schools (I go to Swarthmore) and my safeties and matches included:
- Brandeis
- Dickinson
- Goucher
- Grinnell
- Oberlin

(and Bryn Mawr but that doesn’t apply to you)
