My “reach” school is MIT, my top “safe” pick is WPI followed by UMass Lowell, but BU sits somewhere in between reach and safe for me. I’m decently confident, but I’d like some other opinions.
Stats:
•4.31 weighted GPA
•1350 SAT score (retaking and aiming for 1500+)

•Math through calculus + AP calculus test at the end of my senior year
•SkillsUSA District Gold Medalist + State Competitor
•Varsity Cross Country 2 years

Feel free to ask for more info if I missed anything important, thanks for the read!
In your other threads for MIT chancing you state that you have a 4.25 WGPA and a 1500 SAT .
I was wrong about my GPA, that’s what it was previously. 1500 is what I project my SAT will be after I take it again next week, I wouldn’t bother applying to MIT with my current score of 1350.
I would say, based on my own subjective opinion, that you have a good shot of getting into BU. However, I know that recently (like other schools in its caliber, like Tulane and Northeastern), that its become considerably more competitive from an admissions standpoint. I went to an admissions presentation there where a representative showed us a graphic where their median SAT scores were between a 1420-1550… But I’d take that with a grain of salt. With those scores, I feel as though most of their admitted class would attend elsewhere.
