What else can I do to beef up my resume????

Don’t worry. Freshmen GPA doesn’t count in UC GPA. It only uses Sophomore and Junior.

 1. Take the most rigorous classes
 2. Prepare for subject tests if you can. Take them this year to save time in junior year for ACT/SAT
 3. Do you best in activities that you love and can show your potential to its maximum.
 4. Have a good relationships with your teachers and GC for good LOR. Take classes with same teachers if possible.

UCLA/UCB are very hard to get into, but you still have time.
Good luck

You’re out-of-state, so make sure you have the full fees to attend the UC’s because you will not be receiving scholarships from the UC’s. OOS students pay full fees.
