From DPS Rkp right? Well I hope you don’t mind a junior rating you.

Your SAT scores are amazing and you got an ace everywhere else. You’re an NTSE scholar, involved in sports, doing community work, debating and what about MUN? Even if you aren’t in it, it wont matter at all.

You surely have a brilliant chance of getting into the colleges of your choice. With a superb SAT score and full in AP’s you surely could score a big scholarship too.

EDIT: You could try in Stanford too! Also what do you want to pursue. And how is that you got a 9 CGPA in IX yet achieved a 95% in eleventh? Isn’t the scholar badge given for getting 80% and above?

BTW: Your scores are like Shreya Vardhans. Do tell me how you studied for it please.

:-)

You’re a pretty above average candidate for any university you apply to. Keep in mind though that Ivies and other schools at that level reject people like you every year. So make sure you at least apply to one safety.

Also I really don’t understand why anyone would apply to EVERY Ivy. They’re all very different schools, and what one of them is known for (eg: Cornell for CS or UPenn for Business), the others aren’t as great for. They are all very different schools, and applying to all of them just doesn’t make sense. Try to narrow your list down so that you only apply where you actually want to go. You won’t be happy everywhere.

By the way, which class are you in? And thank you guys  Also, Athemyabha, are you in DPS RKP?
And athemyabha, just study hard for SAT and focus, nothing will be able to stop you. I myself just got it somehow :P.
And it is rather a privilege to be rated by a junior!

And Shreya Vardhan is a class apart, there is just no comparison.

And Truust, it is possible to get 95% because class 10 and class 9 grades are not counted in class 11.

Also, can I get some financial aid? I really want to get into CalTech and yes by all ivies, I meant the engineering ones.
And, will the 9.0 CGPA of class 9 really put a negative impact or is it nullified?

I didn’t ask about the 95% thing, that was the poster above me.

Yes, your financial needs will be met since you’re a citizen. Still wondering why you’re applying to every Ivy though?

Edit:

Don’t worry about your freshman CGPA. Your stats are near perfect.

Yeah I’m in X. You’ll know my name if you read my username backwards.

But really you are very good and have loads of EC’s. You surely have a good competitive chance of getting into Caltech.

By the way do you know anyone from our school who got into MIT?

Sorry for that and no, I am not applying to all ivies. Was in a hurry so mentioned all ivies insted of typing in the ones in which I will apply.

But what is your take on me getting into Caltech?

Not really Abhay, I dont know anyone right now. Wait for the magazine :stuck_out_tongue: and which section are you in my friend?

Thank you sooooo much.

I’m in X-D. Do tell me your name. And congratz on being the Head Girl! And I find it surprising that you’re and american citizen.

Hahaha… Lucky me!

So what do you plan to do in near future, Abhay?

I will be giving the PSAT on 19th just to get an idea of the level of questions. And I’m studying hard for NTSE this year. Did you go to FIITJEE or VMC something?

No need for FIITJEE or VMC. Waste of time, I would say. Focus on NTSE.

You gave the NTSE in X right? So do I need to study SST of Class VI and VII too? And which class’s syllabus dominates the SAT paper in NTSE?

Do only class 10 SST along with Class 10 Science but THOROUGHLY. Thats what I did!

Nice! So only NCERT? Or something extra because some questions in the SAT are above NCERT level.

I dont even know your name. What is it?

Will give you detailed information on NTSE etc.
