I applied a while ago, and many of my friends who applied around when I did have already gotten a response, and I’m freaking out a little bit.
My OOS daughter applied to CBS in August and heard back some time ago. Accepted. She had a 33 ACT, 3.98 GPA (unweighted), and many extracurricular activities. Have you taken a rigorous academic load throughout HS?
@atla392 that’s probably the hold up. It might just mean waiting a little longer. Your ACT is very strong so you have a decent shot at acceptance - especially given the upward trend. They typically let in the very strongest applications first. CBS is a pretty selective admissions process! Closer to the decision deadline they will figure out whether there’s room or whether you are better matched in another college such as CLA (where you are a shoe in). So be patient - in this case no news is good news.
