Sorry yeah your SAT/ACT is rather low. Also, because I didn’t see it on your resume, did you take any science subject tests? I know ucla/ucb engineering are slightly big on that.
Umm Yeah got a 720 in Phy. I know that is low. But I actually know its a reject from UCLA/B Im not expecting much from my top 7

They also put UVA and UCLA as matches, which is equally ridiculous. Why do you think some random stranger has any clue about the admission process at these schools?
@fallenchemist haha nothing like that, UCLA can never be match for and OOS below 2000 SAT. Not even with best ECs and Essays. UIUC is actually still fine. Their especially holistic approach may give me an edge. Dont know about UVA engineering though.
Well, if you are OOS for UVA it is tough to get in for any major. Not all that easy for in-state, but OOS is that much harder.
The thing is that I have few impressive projects which are covered only in 3rd year of chemical engineering

4.INTERNSHIP PROJECT IN DR. REDDYS LAB Hyderabad, Telengana, India. - Comparative study of The Talent Management of companies of different sectors and their Best Practices.
5.INTERNSHIP IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEPT OF CALCUTTA UNIVERSITY, Kolkata, West Bengal. - Interaction with professors of Chemical Engineering Dept. emphasizing on Applied Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry; Gained Insights of various Unit Operations of Chemical Engineering.

10.PROJECT ON APPLICATION OF STATISTICAL METHODS AND STUDYING PRODUCTION UNITS. - Detailed study of Methods Measuring Central Tendency, Measuring Dispersion, Correlation of Individual, Discrete and Continuous series.
11.PROJECT ON METHODS OF COLLECTION, ORGANIZATION AND PRESENTATION OF DATA OF DIFFERENT FIRMS. - Researched the different methods of Data Collection, Distribution of Data and their Statistical Presentation methods of companies in the Industrial and Service Sector.
The trouble is, all these internships are fine, but at what cost? Hardly attending school? Lower test scores? SOmething is lost here. Uminn has been giving out CSE offers for months now, you haven’t got an offer there? Are you full pay international?
@Alfonsia No:) I managed my school grades by attending compensation classes and Im in the top 5% of my class. My GPA is 92% which isn’t that easy to maintain in our curriculum. So I dont think anything is really lost.
And Uminn :’( That depresses me. Maybe Im rejected so they are sending out my decision in late feb.

I think you have a chance to attend Berkeley just because the combination of your ACT and essays will be a giant boost. Please elaborate on what you have done with your ECs. Schools look for achievements rather than a list of what you participate in. You should get into most schools. it’s really hard to say. For ECs, famous schools like UCB and others place more weight on quality than quantity. What you did inside the firm will make or break your application. SAT is a little low. UCLA, UCSD, UIUC, UW matches. While UCB, UT Austin, GT are low reach.
