My letters of Rec are coming from my 9th grade Geometry teacher and Math Honor Society Supervisor, my 10th grade AP Psychology teacher and intro to social science research teacher right now, and my 11th grade Physics teacher. I also have one from my Kiwanis supervisor (I have 100+ hours volunteering) with the organization). I also got one from my guidance counselor. Which ones do you guys think I should send in? I have 5 to choose from as listed above.

I would send your rec letters from the teachers who you personally feel closet to, and know you the best. If it were me, I’d personally send the Math Honor Society letter and the letter from your counselor, but again, that’s just what I would choose. It really depends on your relationships with those teachers.

You definitely have a chance. It’s hard to really be assured of admission to any Ivy, but you have a chance. Your ACT score is on par with what they’re looking for, you have a decent course load, and your ECs look fine.

@badgers21 thanks a lot! I feel like my weakest relationship is with my physics teacher; however, I chose to have him write me one because I wanted to have a science teacher since I’m looking into pre-med.

Honestly I think you have a pretty great chance. You seem to have a really well-rounded application but just make sure that supplemental essay and your main common app essay are knocked out of the park. With pretty selective schools like Cornell there sometimes is no rhyme or reason to who gets admitted but I believe you have a pretty great shot. Good luck!

@wildcat64 thanks! I’ll do my best
