Your chances aren’t great. You don’t have outstanding extracurriculars. Some schools do like to see an upward trend, but your GPA overall is just not good. Your SAT scores are not good. 800 in math is not uncommon at Ivy Leagues and your reading and english are very low for good schools. This could be explained if you learned english as a second language but do not count on it. Also, look up some of the articles about Ivy Leagues “discriminating” against Asians. Don’t count on any Ivy Leagues or other top tier schools. Sorry.

LOL please ignore @whuffy 's comments. I doubt they hold any sort of truth. You are a pretty decent applicant; just make sure you write great essays! Good Luck.

I took the ACT got a 33, will be taking again next weekend. Its just that I didnt send the 33 to Duke or Uchicago since it was too late at that point. I wouldve gotten higher but the ACT I took had an oddball reading passage that screwed my reading score over. I normally get 33/34 instead got a 28.

While your scores are solid, they are not eye-popping. That coupled with you are competing with other Asians who have scores (that is to say admitted students) about 15-20% higher than yours. Ivy schools, Stanford, U of Chicago are going to be a medium to high reach.
