Chance Me for ED Columbia Comparative Lit/French please!

Hi all! I'm applying to Columbia ED for Comparative Literature / French, and I'd love to see how much chance I've got!! I'm super nervous about applying ED b/c Columbia is my dream school and I would really really like to get in...

Here are my stats!

Age: 16
Class: Class of 2017
School: Private School (competitive, about 25-30% Ivy league enrollment/year) (but I think a lot of kids at my school get into Ivies b/c of connections or sports)
Unweighted GPA: 3.73
Class Ranking by unweighted gpa: Top 25%
Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Female
Financial aid status: will not apply for FA.
Hooks: none! :(

SAT I: 2350 (CR: 800, Writing: 790, Maths: 760)
SAT II: 800 (Maths II), 720 (Literature), will take French in October

Senior Course Load:
500-level Physics B
500-level Economics
500-level Russian Literature
400-level Advanced French
500-level Calculus-Based Statistics

Extracurriculars:

(NO SPORTS!!!! I SUCK AT SPORTS AND I'M SUPER WORRIED IT'S REALLY GOING TO IMPACT MY APPLICATION!!!)
Over 400 hours of community service and thus various honors connected with that
VP at a club that fundraises for children in Tibet and we took about ten peers to Tibet this summer
Topic leader in Research project in association with UPenn's CSBGL.

(I think i really lack in extracurriculars and I'm uber worried that this lack, coupled with my none-too-good academics will destroy my chances with Columbia!)

Essays: errhh not really sure what the chunk of things is going to morph into yet...

Recs: expecting a good one from my maths teacher but a little sketchy on the English side b/c my english teacher is a bit... peculiar... and I never know what he thinks about anything (but he's my only option soo...)

Please chance me and help me identify my strength (if any at all...) and weakness (so i can try to work on them in whatever little time I've got left)

Thanks and good luck to everyone else!!!

Btw I forgot to say that I did Internship at this non-governmental organization called Junior Achievement for last summer and spent one month in a language immersion camp in France this summer.

MMLA is the french summer camp? Which Campus?! About the chancing, i think you’re scores are, obviously, fantastic! However, your GPA is a little (emphasis on little) low and you might want to try and raise it if you have quarterly grades before the ED deadline. Your ECs are sparse, as you noted, and while they are impressive, they don’t seem to imply a consistent (weekly, daily, etc) time commitment that colleges sometimes look for (i.e sports everyday after school, Debate club meeting biweekly) to imply that the student is regularly active in their community. That being said, you trip to Tibet sounds fantastic, and i hope you have a lot to say about that organization in your application (be it in the short answer or in the essay) because it seems to be what sets you apart. Anyway, i think I’m going to give you a 30% chance of admission into Columbia, a good 20+% above the average rate, because of your SAT, your tibet trip, and the fact you are applying ED. Good luck in the coming months!
