btw, the average GPA that got into Cornell from my school was a 4.0 W ED, 4.10 RD.

Oh yeah, and i go to a pretty competitive school, yada yada whatever

So how does it look?

Excellent academics and test scores, but your EC’s are going to hurt you unless you participate actively in ‘some random clubs’. You need to write extremely good essays and get amazing recs, since the EC’s aren’t enough to set you apart as an interesting and competitive applicant.

Cornell ED: reach/possible low reach

@Paintallthestuff

I started a Raspberry Pi club at my school, but it’s only been a month or so, and I was in the Ultimate Frisbee club for a while. I’m probably not gonna mention the latter though. Oh and I forgot to mention that I was a part of a volunteer orchestra that played at retirement homes for my sophomore year, and I’ve been tutoring for a while lol

My chance stands- you’ve only participated/will only participate in each of those clubs for one year, and tutoring is very, very generic.

Your ec’s are quite boring and have nothing to do with your possible major. That being said, your grades and test scores still make you a competitive applicant.
