Chance me for Emory/Tufts ED!!! I will chance back!

do you think i could get into to tufts ED with like a 3.7 weighted gpa and a high 1800's for the sat's? if not, do you think i could get into emory ED? EC's are average. Essay is decent. Recommendations are decent. Not really any leadership roles.

bump…

Both schools would be high reaches.

thank you for the honest answer. Do you have any idea which one would be easier?

pleaseeeee someone!!!

Someone I know got flat out rejected from Tufts ED with good grades and a 35 ACT. I would go with Emory, just basing it off that.

Please chance back!

Thank you. Good luck with your college hunting!

I think you could get into Tufts (high match) but Emory might be a slight reach. My friend got wait listed with a 2050 SAT, 3.8 GPA, and very good EC’s. I’m sure you can get into at least one of them though. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1431373-chance-top-schools.html</a> Chance back?

I think that of the two, Emory would be the easier, but the SAT could hurt you. Since both schools are very selective reaches, focusing on your ECs and essays could make them more realistic despite lower objective stats. Good luck!! :)

Chance me back?

collegebound, i already chanced you i think

hey man, Tufts will be a reach/high reach for sure. emory will be a little easier (IMO), but still a reach. Can you get that SAT score up?

Emory and Tufts would be pretty difficult because of your SAT score. But do give it a shot with them because grades and scores aren’t everything and there may be something else about you that the admissions office may like. You never know! Just remember to have some backup plans in case neither of them works out.

Can you chance me back?

I think if you apply ED to Emory you can get in. Not so sure about Tufts. Good luck

im getting mostly that emory is easier…is that the consensus

bump…

anyone else??? I WILL CHANCE BACK!

desperate bump!!!

please. i will chance back!!!

What are your extra curriculars? Your GPA i not bad but your SAT is your weakness. If you have strong ECs and a great essay I would give you a chance. still medium/high reach

You wanted me to chance you back, but I don’t think that’s a good idea; I have no expertise on the matter.

Are you a Junior or a Senior? How many times have you taken the SAT? If you still have time and aren’t too busy, I think an 1800 can be boosted above a 2000 with proper study. My 10th grade PSAT was 193; by 11th grade it was a 230.
