UPDATE: I took the SSAT and got a 99th percentile
bump

Congratulations on your SSAT score, that is quite impressive! Overall, you have a solid application. Stay humble and continue to work hard. Best of luck.

Your SSAT score is wonderful! Great job! But don’t get too confident because of it. Your musical achievments seem awesome, but the sports side of things are somewhat lacking. Overall, you have a solid application (Like LaxPrep said), and you have a good chance. How do you feel about your interview?

Thanks guys! @geyserr , I’m definitely not too confident about that… I’ve read the 2015 Applicant Stats thread and almost everyone who got a 99 percentile did not exactly end up with great results on m10, so I’m kinda worried. Of course, I do understand that other ppl have different circumstances, but I’m still nervous about this…I just went to my interviews a few days ago, and I think that my Exeter one was definitely awesome!! We talked alot and joked around and she complimented me a lot (but then again, that might mean nothing) but I was a little sick during my Andover interview, so I’m not sure how that went…

You look like you have great credentials! As a current Exeter student and tour guide who spends enough time in the admissions office, I can tell you that they are definitely NOT just looking for the best GPA/SSAT scores. As long as you’re in the mid-to high 90’s in terms of percentile, you really don’t need to worry about the SSAT. You seem like you’re very involved, which is great, and that you have passions. But just make sure not to pretend you’re interested in something for the sake of your application. As cliché as it is, really just be yourself. Exeter is looking for students who are not only smart, but who will be great contributors to the school community, and who are overall good people! They really do mean it when they say “combining knowledge with goodness.” Good luck!

Coconut5: your comments that “they are not just looking for the best GPA/SSAT scores and as long as you are in the mid to high 90’s you don’t really need to worry” is somewhat ridiculous. Mid to high nineties?? So it does matter. A lot.

@Center what do you mean?

I believe that if you go on Exeter’s website, they tell you the “qualities of a successful Exeter applicant”.
