I am a junior and will be applying to Fordham this fall. Can you chance me, please? Thanks! :)

-I have a 3.6 GPA (or 91)
-SAT= 1200 (Hopefully I can get those up to a 1300)
-I am in Model UN Club, an active member of Key Club, and National Honor Society
(Hopefully I will be in Science Honor Society, French Honor Society, and Business Honor Society in Senior Year)
-A-plus French student (5 years)
-I have taken all regular level classes, three honors, and I will be taking two AP classes Senior Year.

Is your SAT out of 1600 or 2400? If it’s out of 2400, then your school has a LOT of grade inflation.

it’s out of 1600.

btw What is grade inflation?..sorry if that’s a dumb question.

yeah definitely increase your SATs and you’ll have a pretty good chance. well at least you would have in past years, its hard to determine now since Fordham’s acceptance rate dropped significantly this year and there’s no way to know what it will be next year

Sounds like you have a good shot

Your GPA is good. ECs are looking good too…but just remember schools look for more leadership roles in ECs then just being a member of a whole bunch of clubs. SAT…a bit low. Its good your taking AP classes…make sure you rock those. Honors look real good too. Have you won any awards? You should definitely put those down.
To be honest…something I have noticed about Fordham which I really like is they put more weight on the individual than the actual grades. They are looking for someone creative who will rock their essay and really be able to convey why Fordham is the school for them. You need to show them something that will stand out. Your grades are good…and I really dont think you have anything to worry about however, there are tons of kids with a profile just like yours…even better. You need to really capture their interests in the person you are with your essay. When I was about to go to Fordham and I attended orientation the guy kept on talking about how essays standout to him when hes reviewing applications and he told us about the two essays of the year that he remembers the most.
