My interview went very well, and I think my essays were very well written and passionate. I’m hoping that my passion for language and IR, as well as my legacy, help me, but I know my test scores are well below average. Anyone think I have a shot after being deferred EA?

You may have been deferred because of your legacy status. In the not too distant pass, Georgetown seemed to prefer full pay applicants.

@Publisher At least online, Georgetown claims to be need-blind. Also, according to an article that I read on The Hoya, legacy is not considered until RD, where legacy applicants who have been denied are re-reviewed and officers see if they are able to give them a tip in any way. My family hasn’t donated any substantial amounts, although my grandfather did do alumni interviews for them when he was younger.
