Hi everyone, I applied to GWU regular decision this year and im really concerned to what my chances are, though. GWU was my second choice school, my first was Northwestern but i was deffered ED (im honestly surprised i wasn't rejected, though). I had a really weak freshman year and got 2 C's, although I do have an upwards trend from there and all my classes are honors/ap with a total of 9 Ap's. The High School i attend is very competative and we just sent multiple people to ivy league schools just this week.

Anyway here are my stats:

Applying for Computer Science in applied sciences school

GPA: 3.4 (UW), 6.03/7 (W) -- although my senior year will be a 7/7 for my first semester all AP
Class Rank: top 20%, 99/~500, this will also rise with my first semester
SAT: 1950 (690V, 650M, 610W)
ACT: highest comp. score with writing: 28, super scored: 29
My common app essay was really good, my why GW was good but not as good as my common app.

Finally, i had my interview for GW 2 weeks ago and I think it went GREAT! My interviewer even took me out to talk to the assistant director of admissions about research opportunities at GW. And also visited the school last month.

Hooks: none really, although my uncle went to GW, for internatial affairs though, he works at the state department now.
Race/Ethnicity: White, Jewish.

Also i know applying EDII would have bumped my chances, although i really did not want to commit as i though it would affect my finacial aid, I've aready submitted my application but do you think that i should call them and see if i could be switched to ED II?
