Schools I'm thinking about applying to:
Johns Hopkins
UPenn
Cornell
Georgetown
Columbia
Univeristy of Maryland
Duke
Stanford
Wash U
George Washington

I'm interested in biology/chemistry with a premed concentration.

Thanks again!

ALSO, where do you think I should apply ED/EA?

Try to increase class rank as it is only out of 130 (Being only top 20% will definitely hurt u)
Varsity EC definitely a boost
ECs show commitment and passion
Try to increase CR and make sure you have a strong grade in Regular english so they dont see it as a weakness

Johns Hopkins - low reach
UPenn - high reach
Cornell - low reach
Georgetown - match
Columbia - high reach
Univeristy of Maryland-match
Duke - mid reach
Stanford- very high reach
Wash U - low reach
George Washington - safety

And for EA/ED, I’d say apply to whatever school you want to go to the most.

well judging by the difference between your good gpa and your bad class rank, i’m guessing you go to some crazy-competitive private school? If this is true, A.)you should tell us that, and B.) you DEFINITELY should tell the colleges that, if you do, i dont think the rank will hurt you that much.

I pretty much aggree with soccersamdude. Like others are saying, the rank will be your main disadvantage. You have really good Varsity ECs and involvement in clubs. You don’t have a whole lot of community service, but if you play up your commitment in sport and clubs that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Good luck!

I would say
Johns Hopkins - low reach, near match
UPenn - high reach
Cornell - match
Georgetown - match
Columbia - high reach
Univeristy of Maryland-definite match
Duke - mid reach
Stanford- reach for everyone
Wash U - low reach
George Washington - definite match

very impressive stats, and report your AP scores too assuming they’re good
And if you get a chance, chance me as well if you have time

Johns Hopkins - low reach
UPenn - high reach
Cornell - reach/match
Georgetown - reach/match
Columbia - reach
Univeristy of Maryland-match/safety
Duke - reach.
Stanford- out of ur reach if u dont live in california.
Wash U - low reach
George Washington - safety + good amount of money

(im assuming ur gpa is unweighted gpa)
i think u would have a good shot at cornell/wash u/hopkins if u do early.
If i was u i would go for cornell
Georgetown does early action. and they usually accept less% in early action so dont do it
UPenn+ Columbia, u wont stand a chance. ur sat2s arent even average. 770 in math2c is not even that good percentage. my 800 was barely on 90%. and 680 in chem…? if u have time fix ur 2s. its more important than ur 1s(im not joking its true)
also take out stanford out of ur list u will have 1% chance at best.(unless u live in west coast) .
