Hijacking my mom's account here: Guys, I'm really serious about a career in interior design. I've already taken a college-level course at Pratt and have a very good art portfolio:

Weighted GPA: 3.63 (I know, not great). Probably top 35% at super-competitive public HS in NJ
ACT: 30 composite, 10 on writing
AP Psychology: 5
President of National Art Honor Society at my school
Assistant in multiple hip-hop classes
Other paid work experience--babysitting, shelving at the library

I know I'm not an academic standout, but I do have a passion for design and am one of the top art students in my school. My work has been shown locally as well. I hear that Human Ecology really looks for people who have a passion, besides grades and scores. It's tough to tell if I have a chance at all based on the last few years because admissions have gotten even crazier. Should I even bother?
