<p>I think you can get into all of those schools, but I’m not sure about Brown and Harvard. Anyway, I know its an old thread, but can you chance me for Cornell? It would be very much appreciated!</p>

<p>I think most of these are reaches. I would be very surprised if you got into any ivies. Your ECs are weak IMO. There is nothing at all that will make you stand out, as your test scores are average for top schools. The GPA/rank and first gen hook are nice, but I don’t think it will be enough for most of these schools</p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me. Wow you stats are very good. I believe that you should get into UCLA and UCB for sure. For Cornell, Boston, Chicago you have a pretty good chance. For Harvard and Brown you chances are good as well i would say 65-70%. Overall I think your stats are good and you should be fine.</p>

<p>You’re looking good for USC, UCLA, and UC Berkeley, especially since you’re a California resident. As for Harvard, like someone had said, it’s a Reach for everyone. You send in your app and it goes right down the crapshoot; their admissions is so random… It’s crazy. UChicago, Brown, and Cornell, well, they’re all Ivy League-standard, so you’ll have some competition here. And you’ll probably get into Boston U.</p>

<p>Well, I like the sound of you. You are not just a generic good asian student. You have a love of English and have a novel out, that makes you unique. Your stats are pretty good, but needing financial aid is going to hurt you.</p>

<p>UCLA: Should get in, no problem.
UC Berkeley: See Above
Harvard: Reach and a big one for anyone
Brown: Very Competitive, but a crap shoot
Cornell: same as Brown
USC: I would think you would get in
Boston U: See UCLA
UChicago: 50/50</p>

<p>your chances to all of them seem excellent. GPA is competitive for all of them. Your EC’s are decent but nothing to turn heads. SAT and ACt are on low side for Harvard and Brown. You’re pretty much in the other ones though. Cornell is a very good shot. Please chance back</p>
