<p>I play table tennis competitively. I am also a coach, certified by the International Table Tennis Federation. I volunteer as a coach. I have done table tennis demos at elementary schools. Table tennis takes up a large part of my life. I have played saxophone for the last 7 years in local concerts.</p>
<p>I am planning on majoring in chemical engineering. what are my chances at ivys and other top schools like carnegie, jhu, berkley, and duke.</p>

<p>stats are in the right range but do you have any academic extracirriculars or awards? I’m not completely sure about this, but they might want to see that in addition to hobbies (table tennis, music, etc.) unless you are a recruited athlete. With good essays you are a fair competitor but most schools you listed are still reaches. good luck.</p>

<p>I think that carnegie mellon would have a hard time rejecting you, but the others (Berkeley to a lesser extent) would be more of reaches.</p>
