Your GPA is excellent and appears to be unweighted based the grades you report. In my estimation you would be likely a Match at Occidental College and progress up to a Low-Reach at Amherst: Based on admissions statistics, the progression would fall in appoximately the following order of difficulty:

Admissions difficulty score – College

94 Amherst College
92 Bowdoin College
91 Washington and Lee University
88 Pitzer College**
88 Davidson College
87 Colgate University
87 Bates College
86 College of William and Mary
85 Colby College
82 Occidental College

College of the Holy Cross*

SAT/ACT optional so no statistical ranking avail.
* SAT/ACT optional – scores used for calculation are soft numbers.

There is a very useful post/thread a few pages down in this ‘chance’ forum called “Top Colleges ranked by Difficulty of Admissions” that uses published admissions data to attempt to rank all of the top colleges and universities in order of selectivety. I would provide a link to the thread except I do not know how to accomplish (my forum skills are limited). If you are interested, I will bump that thread to the top, just let me know.

Thanks for your help! I did a search for the thread…is it this one?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1074266-top-colleges-ranked-difficulty-admissions.html

Yep, Thats the one… Now if you can just teach me the

, I will be able to post the link myself next time.

All I did was copy and paste the link. Nothing complicated. :)

ah… must have been having a senior moment (43)… best of luck to you again.

Bates, Colby, and Bowdoin are also part of the SAT optional movement for undergraduate admissions so do not understand why they can be ranked but Holy Cross cannot ?

Yeah I was wondering that too.

Bump! 10char

Great resume and EC and fantastic GPA but maybe a little low on the SAT and ACT. I think you have a pretty solid chance at just about everything except WashU.

Chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1076074-ut-austin-chance-only-school-i-want.html

I didn’t apply to WashU…did you mean W&L?

Bump!10char

Another try…please?
