Note: I had a major change in how I viewed the importance of education at the end of my sophomore year of high school. Do you think this will help my chances at all? I come from a Jesuit HS and am a catholic on paper

I don’t know much about the other schools but I was accepted to LMU with a 3.5 UC gpa and 25 ACT and your ECs look good so I would say you have a pretty good chance!

Awesome thanks!

I think you have a good shot at LMU too. If there is a circumstance that explains the grades at the beginning be sure that you explain it. I bet you have a great shot at all three but my son had similar stats ( public school though ) and got in at LMU so just want to give you that info.

UCM/UCR: Match
UCSC/LMU: High Match
SCU: Low Reach

Write some amazing essays and it could bump up your chances.

Since my acceptance letters come out in a couple of weeks, I will post the outcomes on this thread. Thanks for all the responses!

Accepted into Chapman!

@cbm345 Congrats! Did you get any financial aid/scholarship at Chapman?

@StressedinCA Nope :(. But it’s the only selective school that I ended up getting into.

oh ok, the sticker price is quite high i guess…

Yup
