SDSU, LMU, Pepperdine, Chapman, BU, Miami U (OH)

<p>I am very intersted in SDSU, LMU, Pepperdine, Chapman, BU and Miami U (OH).</p>

<p>GPA:
Unweighted: 2.88
Weighted: 3.00</p>

<p>ACT score: 30</p>

<p>-Member of Boys Team Charity since 8th grade(over 100+ hours of community service)
-4 year varsity hockey player and I am the Captain of the team for my senior year.
-Also played on a travel hockey team at the same time as playing high school hockey
-Co founder/Co president of the Finance/Econ club at my school
-I will be interning at a Capital Management firm for my senior year.
-I took three years of Mandarin Chinese.(not sure if this is relevant, but i heard taking Chinese looks good on my transcript)</p>

<p>I will be getting letter of recs from alumuni of BU and Miami U (OH). </p>

<p>@Vikingboy11: Do you realize the SDSU’s average GPA for in-coming Freshman was a 3.7??? For it to be a low match, the OP’s GPA needs to be at the average.</p>

<p>And if I’m not mistaken, SDSU gets a phenomenal amount of applications, has to give prefernce to the local area, and ends up with a low admit rate. And you have to complete all the required classes to get in to a Cal State. </p>

<p>BTW, I think LMU’s average gpa is about 3.5, but my son got in, so…</p>
