I originally wasn’t planning to apply to Colorado School of Mines because I didn’t think I had a chance to get in. That changed when I got an email from them inviting me to apply with the Golden Admission Application (no fee, no essays, priority decision for admission/scholarships) I was pretty surprised about this because:
- My GPA is 3.53 weighted (2.7 unweighted) I’m in all IB Diploma classes
- My ACT score is 25 (I got 25 both times I took it 27 superscored)
Should I go ahead and apply? I’m still not certain I have a chance and don’t really know why I got the Golden application at all.
