Ethnicity: Asian. International applicant from Europe. Parents’ salary=idk but high, I go to a top private school.

Academic: ACT: 34/36. 33 English, 33 Reading. 35 Maths, 35 Science. Taken once. SAT subject test: Maths 2: 800 (twice) Physics: 770 A level predictions: A* (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry) A* (Engineering EPQ)-will find out grade in August but A* is assumed. GCSE results: 10A*s, 1A

Teacher recommendations: Physics (10/10) I did a project that I was marked highest in the year in and was selected to give a presentation. Maths (10/10) My term report states that I am one of if not the most diligent students he has ever taught. Average mark is 95%, well above class.

Extracurricular academic: Best physics project mark in year. Asked to present in front of year. Selected for National Physical Laboratory placement (14.5% acceptance rate.) Researched Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy on ZSM-5 compounds. Selected for Imperial Global Summer school placement (25% admit rate). Will attend in August. UK Space Design Challenge national champion. Maths Olympiad first round Gold every year ever competed in. Competed in BMO1 last year. Published numerous article on STEM, chess, etc. Arkwright engineering scholarship finalist in 2016-thus top 600 engineers in the country. Academic scholar (top 15% of year). Young scientist poster presentation qualifier at Cambridge university, although I cannot attend due to date clash. Will publish my EPQ and physics project in Young Scientist journal. Committee member for engineering at my school. We organise entrepreneurs to give lectures at our school.

Young Enterprise (pls don’t look up): My team won country national finals. I was head of design, so created graphics for pretty much everything. I also did other small jobs as needed, as did the rest of the team. Notable success: Won over 25 prizes in total (don’t want to list) International representation twice for my country, winning awards at both international competitions. Over £3000 revenue from fundraising Sold over 400 items Won the national trade Fair. We were also interviewed by BBC breakfast and have a lot of press coverage, including from FedEx. We plan to continue the company and expand the product line. Came in top 8 companies in whole of Europe (30,000 companies.)

Chess: Played for 12 years, since I was 5. Success: County U160 team Coached U9 team that came third at National championships. Have a small chess coaching company in the local community. Member of local chess club. Captain of chess at my school National champion in team problem solving. Numerous other awards (30+ since childhood, 10+ in high school.) Hopefully an international player in November World U20 championships. Other smaller activities: Writer for school magazine for past 4 years. Written outside of school but again will not disclose. School club committee member

Rowing: Been rowing for 4 years in school B boat. My school is the top rowing school in the country atm, so a lot of competition. Notable results: Lots of success at school level but none at International level. Most notably bronze at Head race and silver at Nationals. Bow in my boat. Weight: 71.6kg 2K now: 6:47 2K when applying (hopefully): 6:33
