Hello!
So back in November/October I applied for the Nrotc scholarship. For those of you who are unsure what it is, It is $180,000 awarded to a high school senior. As payback for the money, you have to do 5 year active duty as an o-1(ensign) and 3 year reserves. You get a monthly stipend for this as well as your books and uniform paid for. You have to participate in the colleges NROTC division, which includes Physical therapy, weights, fitness tests, and summer programs.
A little bit about myself:

My chief at the recruiting office said I aced my interview, and I had to interview with a CAPTAIN in the navy instead of an officer.
I did have a period of time where i was struggling to make weight, but i am not making tapes on a decline trend.
I originally qualified for SEALS but was not tall enough (Im 5’4)

(COLLEGE; I am still in the high school applicant pool as I am a dual enrolled student at Clarkson University)

With the NROTC scholarship comes acceptance into the colleges you chose, my top five were (in order)
Boston University
UNC Chapel Hill
university of michigan
st john fisher college
villanova
I cant take the wait, and I know it will be a bit until they even consider my application (more then likely). I’m not good with rejection and just want to see what other people say. My Chief is convinced I am going to get this scholarship, but I feel as though he is just saying that.
