EC's:
Was on the Baseball team for two years but due to schedule conflicts i had to pass on it this year. also won the city championships while I was in Freshman year
Karate practitioner: Was formerly a very active competitor as I had placed in the top 16 in the world championship in japan. Now I help teach students at my local dojo.

Also, I hate to be mean, but your grades do no look so hot, there are risks taking AP Classes, you do not automatically look good because of them

On the contrary, SAT looks great, I would recommend (if you had a time machine) to not take as many AP classes, but take the AP Tests only. Your AP Tests look good other than World History

That said, Stanford is a no, you have too little EC’s, unless Stanford have a Karate Team :l

NYU - Low Reach, your AP classes will get you there

UCLA - Low Reach - Reach, again, AP Classes and high SAT

Berk - Reach, AP classes, SAT

No clue about the others, but Columbia is a reach I think

Sorry if I sounded mean, but Stanford is a No, all the others I think you have low reach/reach
Good luck!

Thanks. Regarding my EC’s, I do have one more that I cannot put here though because it will completely blow off my “confidentiality”. But if I had to describe it, it’s a really quirky sport/toy that’s been around for a long time. I’m also the current world champion at it so maybe that will help me too, especially in incorporating it into my essay that could act as a standout factor.

NYU: Match
UCLA: High match
Berkeley: I can’t really say man but I guess low reach
CMU: low reach
BU: low match
Stanford: high reach
Columbia: high reach
