<p>-I am a junior</p>

<p>-I have a 3.8 GPA (weighted) and a 3.7 GPA (unweighted)</p>

<p>-I have taken 5 AP classes so far, I will have taken 8-9 by graduation</p>

<p>-On the AP two exams I have taken, I scored a 4 on both </p>

<p>-I scored a 31 on the ACT and have not taken the SAT yet</p>

<p>-I am a member of NHS and Key Club, which is a community service club</p>

<p>-I am a member of my school's Newspaper staff, which is ranked #1 in Michigan</p>

<p>-I believe I am in the top 10% of my class
-I can speak near fluent French</p>

<p>Why is your weighed GPA so low if you already have 5 AP classes?</p>

<p>Nevertheless, NYU is a low reach due to lack of leadership for your ECs, as well as average grades/test scores for the school.</p>

<p>Take act again or do better on the sat and I’d say that it’s a good match. NYU-match if you bring those test scores up slightly. 32 would be good but a 33 would be best. It’s possible I brought my act up to a 33 from a 31</p>
