-Student Ambassadors sophomore, junior, and senior year (Students who help the school with a lot of touring and PR), and I’m the Head Ambassador for my senior year (1st one ever, too)
-Band: Clarinet Section leader my freshman year, Woodwinds Captain my sophomore year, Woodwinds Captain and Tenor Line Captain my Junior Year, and Drum Major my senior year
-Student Voice Columnist for the Dallas Morning News, 1 of 7 students chosen out of the entire Dallas Metroplex
-I’m the sponsored HS student (only one too; it’s only allowed 1) on the Library Council, made up of the librarians, english department chair, an administrator, a parent, and a HS student and MS student who are both leaders in the school; Senior Year
-Social Studies Captain (in charge of students in Social Studies, Current Events, Original Oratory, and Persuasive Speaking competitions) for our school’s TAPPS (UIL for private schools) Academic Team; Senior Year
-President of the [School Name] Innovators; senior year only. Our school’s tech and PR department is making an instagram-like app for students of the school to use, and I’m the student in charge of managing the student team and picking who helps test it out so we can see how the app works and what needs to be changed/be added/be removed.
-1 of 50 students chosen in the diocese of Dallas for our annual Nicaraguan Mission Trip
-1 of 12 students in the school chosen to be on the board that works with administration to help choose our new principal
Achievements (aside from those listed above, like the 1 in 7 students for DMN):
-National Spanish Exam Silver medalist, sophomore year
-National Spanish Exam Honorable Mention, junior year
-Eagle Scout
-Received Bishops Honor roll, the highest honor roll at my school, every semester that I’ve attended here, from 6th grade to 11th grade (plan to get it my senior year for both semesters too)
I’m also pretty cool to know, so there’s that 8)
