My GPA is a 3.9 on a weighted 4.5 scale (a 3.46 on a 4 / 86.7 on a 100). My class rank is 106/224. I scored a 1500 on my first SATs, but I just retested and there's a chance I could have scored a lot higher. I got a 24 on my ACTs but will be retesting in December. I have about 75+ hours of volunteer work, and I am involved in varsity sports. I have a strong essay written, though I know they don't take those much into consideration. I would also declare my major as undecided/exploratory. If I am able to score higher than what I already have, what do you think my chances are? I'm also Asian, English was not my first language, I'm a girl, and I also live out of state. I have never taken any honors or AP courses, but I am taking one of each this year as a senior. And technically, I'm the first generation girl to go to college in my family. I don't want to do a 2 for 2, what is the likeliness I'll be accepted to UP?

I think your SAT score is on a low side.
Your GPA is fine. Try retaking SAT or ACT

You’ll probably be deferred to a branch campus. For an out-of-state student, your GPA and SAT are rather low. Your course rigor is very low and extracurriculars aren’t anything special. I think you’d probably be a good fit for your in-state state school, though, because in-state acceptance rates are higher. :)

You might get deferred to a branch campus. Your new scores if higher could put you up at Main. Your intended major also pays a role if you get excepted or not. Business and Eng are the hardest colleges to get into.
PSU decisions are heavily based on GPA and SAT/ACT scores.

You should get in.
