Worked over the summer at a very high-profile law firm in Ireland (all the lawyers I worked with offered to write letters of recommendation, including the executive partner)

Worked doing research at Trinity College Dublin (in Ireland) during the summer at the Institute for International Integration Studies

Recs:
US Gov teacher and APES teacher; both should be very good

Essays:
Two written so far: one about trying to identify 'home' and dealing with stereotypes while frequently moving; one about Model UN (extra curricular activity essay)

I think you have a good shot at UPenn. Your GPA might be your weakest point, but your extracurricular activities really stand out. But since you lived in other countries before UPenn could take that into consideration for your GPA being that English could have been a barrier. You applying to any programs to UPenn?

wow! We have similar stats and backgrounds  I also lived in many different countries, the U.S being my sixth. Lucky that you have american citizenship…i would have been nominated national merit if I had one T_T hopefully our unique backgrounds will help us stand out ^^ I think you have a pretty darn good chance  I did Model U.N as well but I didnt write that in my essay cuz I thought it is a club that MANY people join and write in their essay… Your 800 Critical Reading will stand out, and so will your internships in Ireland. Penn absolutely loves people with broad horizons and diverse perspectives. Go for ED!
Could you chance me back ? ^^
