chance me Northeastern Univ. Pharm D. in the regular decisions!
and could you suggest other schools as well?

Need fin aid?

no. i've seen someone receiving scholarship from URI in Pharm. D though

I think you will get in with no trouble.

even in the regular decision?
so there's no need to apply for northeastern in the early admissions to increase my chances?

Applying ED to increase your chances of getting in is stupid.

You are pretty much in anyway.

Agreed -- but if you want to know early, apply EA (early action... it's non-binding but you'll still know by December)

S33D) thanx for the good news :)
katliamom) I know it is non-binding, but my school's policy may make it binding so that I need to go there.

so,
would I have a chance of receiving scholarship, then?

gad... unfortunately, I don't know how generous Northeastern is with scholarships for international students. I do know that Northeastern is trying to have a more diverse campus, both ethnically and geographically: they are actively trying to get great students from outside of the northeastern US. (I know several excellent students of color at Northeastern who were given either full ride (100%) financial aid or very generous grants, etc.) But whether that same generous spirit includes international students is not something I can tell you.

katliamom) oh well, perhaps I should look for other schools as well. I know someone who received scholarship from University of Rhode Island (Pharm D). It's too bad the schools aren't really generous for international students... anyway thanx for your information!

well then,
would you say I stand a chance when I apply for UPenn CAS in the early admissions?

Of course you stand a CHANCE -- you have good stats and good everything else. But Penn is much, much more competitive than Northeastern, and therefore much harder to get into. My personal advice is for you to apply to many schools regular admission. Choose schools that are 'reaches' 'matches' and 'safeties.' Then compare the financial aid you're offered and make your decision based on a combination of school quality and affordability.

I think you are definitely in!

^

Please mention which school you are talking about. Northeastern, I'm assuming.

kk
assuming that I get above 2300,
what chance would I have?

50 points in the SAT will NOT make or break the decision

bump bump
anyone else to chance me for UPenn?

You're in for Northeastern no problem. You also have a good chance for UPenn.
