I have no idea what my chances are. Im an oos low income first generation college student. I have 3.97 UW GPA, 31 ACT, 6 AP classes once I graduate that I have scored 2 5’s (APUSH and APES) and a 4 (AP Bio). I am a Jack Kent Cooke scholarship semifinalist, i volunteer at an urgent care, work in a nursing home, am a teachers assistant, tutor an underclassmen in AP Bio, went to a women in science interview on the local news with a UW Madison professor, and was in HOSA and still in student council. I have good letters of recommendation and i worked really hard on my essays. Activity essay is about how working in the nursing home lead me towards premed, community essay is about women in science, and why umich essay talked about specific clubs, classes, and how I am a good fit for there school. I know that nobody has ‘good’ chances at a school like this but I am just curiouis because I know my application demonstrated a lot of interest, yet I am out of state and my stats are average. I was accepted to UW Madison and University of Florida and waitlisted at UNC Chapel Hill (out of state)
