I agree with so many of the other posters - you have superb stats – ECs, SATs, GPA and class rank – for acceptance and success in any of the top schools. Best of luck to you and let us know where you land!

in at all but HYPS, where you still have a great solid chance. HYPS = low reach, really high match

only thing missing are national awards, you have a bunch of state awards. Otherwise you’d be a near perfect applicant

pummeled by mass awards and ECs

But seriously, 2390 SAT? Might as well start working at McDonalds now

How much will the lack of national awards hurt me, do you guys think? ![]()
Ugh. I reallyyyy want to get into Yale… sigh. I swear this college admissions process takes ten years off your life ![]()
Thanks for all the chances!

You have nothing to worry about you little genius child

I really hope you’re joking. You have a 3.97 GPA, 2390 SAT (even more rare than a 2400), and stellar ECs.

Hmm I mean the problem for us Asians is that they get so many with great grades/SAT’s/EC’s. I think that most of those schools are probably high matches/low reaches.

leave a link if you want me to chance back!

Your stats look great (ECs and Grades). You just need to set yourself apart and create a hook for yourself by showing a lot of passions and initiative in a couple areas. That will make you a much more attractive applicant.

Chance Back?
