I want to major in international relations in college. Currently, my top picks would be Georgetown SFS and the Columbia/Sciences Po dual BA program. Please chance me for those programs as well as other Ivy and Ivy-level schools. I would also appreciate any advice about things I could do to improve my chances.

I think that you have great ECs, but it’s hard to chance you without exact ACT/SAT scores. Is your 3.9 GPA weighted?

unweighted. If I get a score within normal ranges for Ivies and similar schools, do you think I have a shot?

What leadership positions do you have in clubs/are you trying to get? I think that if you have solid leadership positions in clubs, as well as a high ACT score or SAT score and a great essay, you would have a great shot

I’ve started a club this year that I’m running by myself. It’s a tabletop games club and I’m responsible for bringing in games and teaching them to members. As a senior, it’s very likely I’ll have an officer position in Model UN as they usually go to experienced seniors and sometimes juniors who have awards. All of the current sophomores are new except one, so they would be out of the running, as are all the juniors except for me and two others (one is currently VP, she’ll probably be president next year, and the other will probably also have the second leadership position out of three total).
