Chance me for selective LACs

So I am applying to several LACs Regular Decision, and I've already been admitted to my safety school.

Carleton College (probably my #1 right now)
Middlebury College (Deferred ED I)
Colorado College
Kenyon College
Reed College
Oberlin College

SAT I Composite (Superscore): 2270
800 CR
690 M
780 WS

did not take SAT Subject Tests

I've taken two AP exams so far:

AP English Language & Composition (5)
AP US History (4)

This year I'm taking these classes, and so far I have these grades:
AP English Literature
Calculus 1/Statistics
AP US Government
AP Environmental Science
AP Latin
German 2 Honors

Less than 5% of the students at my school take more than 7 AP classes.

My weighted GPA is 4.05, and my unweighted is 3.75. I attend a top-tier college-preparatory school that doesn't release class rank, but according to my counselor, I'm in the top 9 percent of my class. I'm quite worried about my 3.5 unweighted for 1st semester of senior year though.

ECs:
Model Atlanta Regional Commission (MARC): year-long program for high school students that focuses on solving urban planning and regional environmental issues. 'Twas fascinating.

National Institute of American History & Democracy (NIAHD): received a full scholarship to attend this summer program at The College of William & Mary, took a really cool semester-long college history class over the course of three weeks and received an "A-" on my first college transcript

Trees Atlanta, Intern and Volunteer: conducted a research project called "Canopy Cooling Effect," which, hence its name, measured the effect of tree canopy on pavement temperature. I had a lot of fun cycling around Atlanta with my instruments and learned quite a bit. I also help out with tree plantings and was a counselor at a Trees Atlanta summer camp.

Environmental Awareness Club (10-12), Officer: I act as a liaison between my school and Trees Atlanta, so I organize frequent tree plantings and annual energy usage evaluation

Model UN (11-12): not very good at it, but it's fun

German Club, Officer (10-12): I've pretty much revitalized this club, having organized Deutsch festivals and such

I've gone on a service trip every summer with my church, and I acolyte there.

Awards:
Sewanee Book Award for Excellence in Writing: "awarded to the most promising writer in the junior class"
Ross American History Scholar Award: "awarded to the most enthusiastic American History student" (full scholarship to William & Mary program)
National Latin Exam, Magna Cum Laude in Grades 9,10, and 11
German 1 Proficiency Test, Highest Statewide Score in Grade 11
National Honors Society
National Merit Commended Scholar

And in case Trees Atlanta didn't already give it away, I'm from Atlanta, Georgia.

Recommendations: Counselor and German teacher know me very well and seem to like me, English teacher loves my writing and thinks I'm very intellectually curious

My common application essay was solid. My English teacher told me last year that I'm one of the best writers she'd ever taught, so my supplemental essays will probably be good, but I can't be sure.

Uh....thanks for taking the time to read this, mysterious strangers!

Typically I don’t do chances but I like your list of schools! Some of my favorites. I feel you will get into at least 3-4 schools on your list. NIce geographical diversity. Hopefully, you showed love to these schools by interviewing, visiting, etc? What is your safety - UGA? Did you not apply EA to Colorado College?

I’m applying to Kenyon regular also, and I know people who got into Oberlin and Colorado with lower scores and fewer APs than you. You seem to concentrate your ECs mostly on environment stuff, which is good since colleges like to see one or two big passions on your app. The only thing that I would say might hurt you would be your weighted GPA, since I know Kenyon looks for 4.23 (according to my naviance) and the others are somewhat similar. Your essays and recs might help boost your app though, so I think you definitely have a pretty good chance at Oberlin and Reed. Kenyon, Colorado and Carleton might be somewhat harder, but not out of reach. Middlebury is a reach.
Good luck!

doschicos, my safety is UGA, and I visited Middlebury, Oberlin, Reed, and Kenyon over the summer. I plan on finding time to visit Carleton and Colorado before April, too. And unfortunately, I added Colorado College to my list just a few weeks ago, so by then it was already too late to apply EA. Bigbang, interestingly according to Naviance, I have an above average weighted GPA for every school (Kenyon is 3.73) besides Carleton (4.12) and Middlebury (4.25), so I should be mostly OK when it comes to academics. I really love Kenyon and could definitely see myself attending if I get in there and not Carleton and Middlebury!

Update: I ended up not applying to Colorado College, and I’ve been admitted to Carleton, Kenyon, and Middlebury!

Congratulations!! Fantastic!
