I applied RD for Class of 2022.

My weighted GPA atm is 3.91. Unweighted is about 3.75.

Senior year schedule: AP Gov, AP Literature & Comp, AP Stats, AP Physics, Theology IV, and Human Anatomy & Physiology

Grade 9-11 recap:

Freshman year: 2 honors classes (out of 5 possible), all As
Sophomore year: 5 honors classes (out of 5 possible), As and ~2 Bs
Junior year: 1 AP class, 3 honors classes, As and ~2 Bs

ECs: Drama Society (Crew, 2 years), Civil Rights Team; currently a member of the Board of Directors (3 years), STAG+ Alliance (1st year), Ultimate Frisbee (4 years), National Honor Society (2 years)
past ECs: Choir (3 years)
Participated in the Ignatian Teach-In For Justice (a 4-day conference in VA)

Worked at a fast food restaurant for my third year now

~65 volunteer hours in my three years of HS
Will not be reporting my test scores
Interviewed as well

In the recent past, I would have said Smith was a Target for you, but since admissions have been getting tighter, I’d say it’s a high Target for you. You still have a decent shot at getting in. Good luck!

Last year my daughter applied with 1450 SAT, 4.25 W GPA, 8 Ap’s and many EC’s, and got waitlisted.
She needed financial aid, but we make just over pell grant limits. Since they can’t list her a a pell grant recipient, and not first gen college, she doesn’t make them look good, so that seemed to work against her as well as being from Massachusetts. They are need aware.
