Chance me for some universities!!?
Hi everyone,
I'm going to be a senior next year and I just want an idea of where I'm going to be applying to this fall. I really really really want to go to Brown, but I'm not sire my stats are good enough. other colleges I'm thinking of are ucb, ucla, ucsd, Cornell, and Case Western Reserve.
I want to major in zoology, but if that not offered in the college, than biology. I am also taking the pre med path, with hopes of going to.medical school. here are my stats;

Unweighted gpa : 3.86
weighted gpa: 4.1
My school offers no honors classes and limits ap's to 1 Soho year and 3 junior and seniors year so it's difficult to get a super high weighted gpa.

Sat subject 2 scores:

biology: 790

senior course load:

ap gov and econ
ap chemistry

I got 2 c's in calc ab, so I'm really worried about that. but I got all a's in junior year.

I just want to know if I should even bother applying for these universities. I know my grades and gpa are my weakest point but I'm pretty sure I will get good recommendations from my teachers.

thanks for any replies! I will make sure to chance back as soon as possible!

not that familiar with the rest but berkley’s probably a good match too. you seem to test really well but maybe just try to get your gpa even a little higher for brown and cornell.

I think you have a good chance at all. Especially , California schools. Ivy leagues are a reach for everyone , but apply. Admissions are holistic and they might see something special in you :).
