Hey thanks for chancing me! I’ll chance you based on what my friends got last year + the UC’s they got into!

Berkeley: mid reach
Davis: match
Irvine: match
Los Angeles: mid reach (it’s funny cuz i have friends that got denied to UCLA but got accepted to berkeley and vice versa, but I’ve been hearing that UCLA is getting much more competitive than Berkeley)
Merced: SAFETY LOL
Riverside: safety!
San Diego: match
Santa Barbara: match
Santa Cruz: safety

basically I have a friend that had the same number of EC’s and GPA/SAT scores as you and got into UCLA/UCSD but got denied by Berkeley, he ended up going to UCSD for its bioengineering program. good luck!

Honestly, you have amazing chances at everyone, even Berkeley. All of them are safeties except UCLA and UCB.
One thing I would recommend is taking another SAT subject test so that you don’t look like a typical one-dimensional math-science Asian. Ya’ know?
I honestly think you should apply to Ivies…

^^Funny you say that…because I took SAT USH and got a…600.

I think I’ll make a seperate chances thread for Ivies…even though I’m not going to get in…whatever. So do you think I’ll get into any Ivies (Columbia, Upenn, Cornell, Brown)?

The rank will hurt for LA and Berkeley. LA is possible, Berkeley is tough but not impossible. I think youll end up at one of the two. I dont know too much about the UCs sorry :(

Frankly I think UCB would be the best school you could aim for since its top 5 for every science, is a public school so its a large school and accepts more people, and its less expensive.

I don’t know too much about UC admissions, but I think your relatively low class rank will be discounted for by your high school strength. Solid profile otherwise. I think you’re into most of them, and have a good shot at all of them. Thanks for chancing me and good luck!
